I'm enjoying the progression of Chapter 11 from CPS to monads. I'm still reading it, but wanted to give a couple of comments based on what I've read so far in case I get sidetracked.

1. The last sentence of section 11.2--"... the last line of the previous expansion could be written like this..."--is potentially confusing. I read "could be written like this" as "equivalent to this", but the new example has a different value than the first since step1-value is 3, but the value that is being replaced with step1-value in the inner function was 4.

2. When viewing the image in section 11.4 in iBooks on an iPad 2, the "The FUNCTION +" unfortunately looks like "The FUNCTION -", which could be confusing. I see that it is correct in the PDF, so it must be a scaling artifact when reducing the size to fit on the screen.

I'll check if that happens on an iPad 1. If so, I'll see if I can fiddle around with the size of the source .png, but that'll happen later.
