Here we go. I'd say we need to get ready for a rough ride. This year in Tennessee has been a marvelous farm year, but we could have the opposite next year. We've been putting in extra water collection and tankage this year. Hopefully we'll have several more acres of pasture fenced in next year. Business has picked up for me, but Wilson County's unemployment rate is still 9.6%.

What do you think of this? Should people just max out their cards and walk away? Does it matter what you're doing with the money (i.e., building up survival apparatus like gardening supplies, solar water heaters, or armor-piercing depleted-uranium rounds) or is it morally wrong to default on debt even if it is held by a parasite like Capital One or Shitty?
