When attempting to connect to the server, our clients are asked to trust the certificate, on checking "Always trust" and "Ok", the server connection does not load. Every attempt tries to reinstall the cert, even though it is already there. What am I missing?

Sorry for the late answer;
This is probably fixed in the current version; from the release notes of version 6.5.2:

>Fixed a case where connecting to a FoxTrot server would ask the user to
>trust the server's certificate, even if the certificate is already
>trusted. This was only occurring on macOS 10.13, when connecting to the
>server by specifying its hostname, and if the server was not using a CA-

If the problem persists with version 6.6, please let us know.

Kind regards

Having the same issue with 6.6.3 build 1988. Any solution? Thanks.

First, make sure that both FoxTrot Server, and FoxTrot Pro clients, are version 6.6.3.

In case the problem persists, two things you can try:

- on the client machine, delete the certificate. To do so:
- check the name of the certificate, in the trust dialog
- quit FoxTrot Pro
- open /Applications/Utilities/Keychain Access.app
- select "certificates" in the bottom-left list
- type the certificate name in the toolbar search field
- delete the certificate

- You may also try reset the server certificate from FoxTrot Search Server.app 6.6.3, by stopping the server, checking the "generate new certificate" checkbox, then start it again.
