I've been using v5.7.1 for quite some time without any problems.  I installed Mavericks on my Macbook Pro two days ago and since then I do not get emails in search results.  I did get them before on all prior macOS versions and used the feature extensively.  Email does not even show as a category any longer in the File Type box.

Mail is still checked in Predefined Locations.  Spotlight still returns email search results but Foxtrot does not.

I've done Index Updates and Full Rebuilds with no change to the behavior.

I tried to explicitly add Mail folders to indexed files per
-->
"We recommend adding at least the following folders to the data to be indexed:...
Apple Mail:/Users/MyUserName/Library/Mail and /Users/MyUserName/Library/Mail Downloads"

but cannot get the Library/ hierarchy to show in the file dialog box.  FInder requires the Option key to show this folder tree under "Go" but that doesn't work in the Foxtrot add custom folder dialog box.

Wondering how to fix this...

From your Home folder (Command+Option+H) select “Show View Options” from the View menu (Command+J) and tick “Show Library Folder”

That setting will be respected in Open/Save dialog boxes too.

Hello,

If I recall correctly, Apple changed the way its Mail mdimporter worked in Mavericks and we implemented the changes in version 6, so this would explain why your upgrade of the OS has lost this functionality.

Fortunately, you can upgrade at a reduced cost straight from version 5 to version 7 here:

Ok.  Where can I find the license key to put into the box to get the discount?  I checked About FoxTrot and looked in Preferences without success.
