Hi,

This is with beta 8

I tried a "neighbouring words" search for "legitimate grievance" and set the slider to around ten words.

The results include "10" as if it was part of the search text, i.e. ("legitimate grievance" "10").

Does that make sense?
I hope the picture helps make it clear.

Thanks

BTW I know it should be a "consecutive words" search and not a "neighbouring words" search.

The original search included a third word, i.e. ("legitimate grievance" person).

Deleting the third word seems to have caused the problem.

Thanks

This is a bug, which occurs because this query is invalid: as you have
enclosed the two words between quotes ("), foxTrot expects at least a
third word, or a second group of quoted words, to be found in the given
distance of this quoted string.

Your original query is correct: ["legitimate grievance" person] would
find either [legitimate grievance {xxx} person] or [person {xxx}
legitimate grievance], with {xxx} being any text containing at most 10
words.

Thanks for the report
