Researchers at the University of California, San Diego began a REALLY COOL process today. They are cutting up the brain of "H.M.", famed amnesia case study subject. The best part? You can watch it live!

I showed the live streaming video to my classes today as an attention-getter and boy, did it work! I was bombarded with questions. Mostly, they were impressed that they were watching it live. By 3:30 PM CST they had actually started taking the slices, and according to the lab they will continue for the next 50 hours, so show it to your classes while you have the chance!
