Hi Jim,

Just found something strange with the latest THOR.
I needed to reinstall Windows in my machine, and I'm running THOR in a clean VFP9 SP2 environment.

I followed the instructions, downloaded THOR.ZIP, stored it in the "VFP9\Tools" folder, opened VFP and did a "DO THOR.APP"
Everything seemed fine, and clicked on "Thor / Check for Updates". It semed to be working nice, but it did not bring the addons, I mean PEME, ISX, and the other neat tools you've been implementing.

Also, that form that allows me to select the VFPX tools I want to install or update did not appear.

What am I missing?

TIA

Cesar

Cesar,
Where exactly have you installed Thor? What is your OS()?
Regards,
Koen

What version of Windows?

What folder did you install Thor in?

When you run Check For Updates, do you see the Wait Windows (upper left quadrant of your screen)? But no screen pops up?

Check for Updates creates a text files in your FoxPro temp folder ... Thor_CFU_Log.<timestamp>  ... can you send that file as an attachment?

Hi Jim and Koen,

Thanks for your answers.

MY OS() is Windows Seven Professional
I created a separate folder on "C:\Tools\Thor"
Thor.app is at "C:\tools\Thor"

When I run Thor.App the 1st time, it creates a subfolder named THOR, with other 2 subfolders inside, and RUNTHOR.PRG

ThorVersion.Txt = "Thor - 1.40 - August 26, 2013 - 20130826"
RUNTHOR.PRG = ".....Do 'C:\TOOLS\THOR\Thor.APP' With 'Run', .F."

When I click on "Cleck for updates", many Wait Windows "Requesting file..." appear on the _Screen

>>Check for Updates creates a text files in your FoxPro temp folder ... Thor_CFU_Log.<timestamp>  ... can you send that file as an attachment?
This is strange, I did not find that file !
Where should it reside?

Thanks again

Cesar

This is is a new one.  Sorry about this.

At the moment, I don't have a clue as to the problem. The log file was not helpful, as it happens. Apparently, I made a change to how things were written to it without testing the change ... (oops)

So, there's an update to Thor out there. Repeat the whole process.  Perhaps, magically, it will be fixed.  If not, send the log file (probably 10 to 20 K bytes)
