"GoFish is not installed" at VFP startup

I've just configured a new computer, including installing Thor and GoFish (via Thor). Each time I start VFP, I get this message:

GoFish not installed
---------------------------
GoFish is not installed; unable to proceed
---------------------------
OK
---------------------------

on the way in. However, GoFish is clearly installed because I can open it and search. I've given GoFish a hotkey, but it's not included in Startup Apps and I haven't set up any Popup Menus.

Any ideas?

Forgot to say that I see the same error messages on the way out from Check for Updates. That is, after I dismiss the dialog that lists the list of applications, while the cleanup is occurring, I get the same error.
