Hi,

I'm afraid it's not possible to open an HTTP connection from within FoX. I
don't think there is any way to access a network resource from within
(pure) Fortran.

The way to do this would be to find some other way to do the network
access (by using an external application or linking to a network aware
library) and then push the XML document into FoX (you don't need to write
to a file to the local file system, FoX can read from a string).

Cheers,

Andrew
