We wanted to let u know all the great things that have taken place. 

 

1. Adoptions are going great!

 

2. The Motorcycle Fundraiser, hosted by the Providence Firefighters Local 799, was a HUGE success!

 

3. Dave Holden, Director of Providence Animal Control has received GRANTS!   Funds from the grants purchased a NEW  Friendly Van, which was featured on Channel 10 news, and the billboard which will be going up at the corner of Terminal Road and Allen's Ave to make it easier to find our Shelter. 

Additional Grants funds will be used to provide low-cost inoculations for the Pet Owners in the City of Providence.

 

4. Chris Gasbarro's Fine Wine And Spirts Seekonk Location will be hosting the FIRST Wine Tasting Fundraiser for our Shelter.  It will be February 23, 2012, tickets $25. We will be sending out information after the Holidays.

 

5.  Steven Ferranti, owner of Strands Salon located at 489 Angell Street, Providence, will be featuring pictures for Providence Animal Control's  Pets of the Month. 

 

6. Lisa Pascale from Strands Salon will be organizing the 2nd Motorcycle Fundraiser in Spring.
