Dear Four Clowns,
I am writing with a little bit of sad news and a fair amount of good news. I will be leaving Los Angeles at the end of this June to move to Washington DC. I am very much looking forward to many opportunities that have presented themselves on the East Coast in DC, New York, and other cities in the area.
However, this means I will not be able to give my full attention to Four Clowns anymore. As we aren't doing any projects that regularly bring in money, we will be dissolving the company as an LLC. However, Four Clowns will remain a working company. We will still produce when we can, and our website will still be up. We will only be dissolving legal status of Four Clowns so that we don't have to continue paying for taxes, business licenses, etc., on a company that is not bringing in any money.
While I will no longer be pursuing grants or festival projects for the company nor curating seasons, Jeremy and I will remain the leadership of Four Clowns. If you have any show ideas that you would like to pitch to produce under Four Clowns' name, please feel free to pitch them. Jeremy and I will be happy to offer advice and help in whatever way we can.
I am very excited about the move east, but I will be very sorry to leave behind Los Angeles and the wonderful friends I have made here. Hopefully, I can get together with you guys before I head out, and I will certainly be in touch.
Best,
