Performances for March 11 and 12:
Hey there,
I'm reaching out because I'm working on a documentary series with Chris Smith (of the Fyre doc as well as Jim and Andy on Netflix ) and we are looking for a clown and performance artist to participate in two separate public performance pieces next week.
The show is starring Oobah Butler, who's most known for his pieces he put out called The Shed (where he made his shed into a fake restaurant and got it to #1 on TripAdvisor) and Georgio Peviani through VICE. Oobah’s own success came through questioning
society’s belief and trust in modern conventions, such as TripAdvisor, and since then he's gotten over 150m views, been interviewed in the New Yorker and profiled on NPR, etc. As a result, he now wants to have a better understanding of what creates success,
which is what the docu-series will follow.
As part of this, I'm working with Oobah on the release of his debut book 'How To Bullsh*t Your Way To Number 1’, and he's hiring a billboard to promote his book and he is seeking a 1) a clown as well as 2) a performance artist to perform near the billboard
as part of the design for it next Monday 11th March and Tuesday March 12.
Let me know if you might be open to this, or if you know any other clowns or performance artists who would be available on such short notice.
Cheers,
Audry
