New! Opening Night Reviews...

[Four Oceans Press]

We have added a new section to our website - Opening Night Reviews. We
go to a lot of shows and usually end up discussing them, taking
pictures and meeting and talking to the artists. We created a review
section to document our experiences. It adds a lot of work for us, but
I think it also adds a new dimensions to our site.

If you are one of our local artists, be sure to let us know about your
upcoming openings, so that we can be there.

Heather and I have been working very hard to get Four Oceans Press off
to a running start. We are about to finish our first print exchange.
We both keep up our own websites and have many other draws on our
attention - it may seem crazy to have added one more thing to fill up
our time, but it has been well worth it. We have collected art from
around the world and in the next few days we will be sending the now
collated work back to the group of amazing artists who have made
wonderful prints to share.

We could not have known how much work it would be, but both of us are
happy to work 14 hours a day. In fact, I can safely say I think we
both prefer working that hard.

There are still a few spots in the Winter Exchange. The deadline is
getting close, but there is still plenty of time to pull a set of
prints to share...

Winter exchange Details:
There are 8 more spots OPEN for the Four Oceans Press Winter 2008 Hand-
pulled Print Exchange. If you have time to do an edition of prints by
January 15th, 2008 then please sign up...

Theme: Winter

Color: B/W or Color. Color is encouraged, but we love a good b/w
image.

Image Size: At least 6" x 8" but no larger than 8.5" x 11".

Paper Size: Paper must be no larger than 8.5" x 11". It is OK if the
image bleeds
off the edge of the paper.

Medium: Woodblock, Linoleum, Serigraph, Lithograph or Intaglio

Paper type: Any archival paper appropriate to your printing method can
be used.

Print Deadline: January 15, 2008
