Red Flag Warning

The National Weather Service has issued a Red Flag Warning for Tuesday, February 17, 2026 at 1000 until Tuesday, February 17, 2026 at 1900.

Open burning including agricultural burning is Prohibited beginning Tuesday, February 17, 2026 at 12:01AM through Tuesday, February 17, 2026 at 11:59PM

The weather event tomorrow has been upgraded from a Fire Weather Watch to a Red Flag Warning.

    RED FLAG WARNING IN EFFECT FROM 10 AM TO 7 PM MST TUESDAY FOR

WIND AND LOW RELATIVE HUMIDITY FOR MUCH OF THE I-25 CORRIDOR AND

NORTHEAST PLAINS...

The National Weather Service in Denver has issued a Red Flag

Warning for wind and low relative humidity, which is in effect

from 10 AM to 7 PM MST Tuesday. The Fire Weather Watch is no

longer in effect.

* AFFECTED AREA...Fire Weather Zones 238, 239, 240, 242, 243,

244, 248, 250 and 251.

* TIMING...From 10 AM to 7 PM MST Tuesday.

* WINDS...West 30 to 40 mph with gusts up to 65 mph.

* RELATIVE HUMIDITY...As low as 10 percent.
