?

We've applied to YCombinator a couple of years ago; we really half-
assed it back then. Now we've got a handful of startup gigs under our
belts. We're excited about this program; it's really exciting to have
one in our own backyard.

Now we can show 'em all NYC is a premium place to start up.

Collin,

Haven't applied to Seedstart but I think it was around last year as
well. I'm not sure who they funded last year, and in general NYCSeed
has not really made many investments:
http://nycseed.com/portfolio.html - it seems like they might be tied
down due to city bureaucracy but I'm not totally sure about that.

Anyone else applying? I don't see any particular harm in applying,
especially since the amount you're giving up is almost equal to what
YCombinator would take.

Anyway, let us know how the application process goes and it probably
makes sense to apply to YC and TechStars again, just to increase the
odds...

Cheers,
Aditya
