Prayer Request

Hey Everyone, I am asking for your prayers on behalf of a man named Hawkeye. He went into the hospital early last week (against his own will). He wasn't really sure what was wrong but just looked and felt really bad and so weak he couldn't walk.  Doctors came to find out his liver was basically poisoned and shutting his body down, all this was due to years of alcoholism. At that time, the docs said he might not make it past the next 24-48. So we all did some major praying. By the grace of God he healed and made a turn for the better, doctors said they have never seen anyone come in with his condition and walk out of the hospital alive. PRAISE GOD!   At any rate, this week they are considering allowing him to leave the hospital and return home and keep up with his care at home. However, his body has caught a fever and antibiotics are now being administered. I ask for your prayers because as much that has happened so far, that is the "easy" part. Because of all of this, Hawkeye now has to live a sober life or the alcohol will kill him for sure. From what I understand it has been many many years that he has been drinking daily. So his hospital stay for the first few days was not only rough due to the health issues but to make matters harder his body was detoxing.  So please pray that all will go well and his family is able to support and take care of him.
