Hey everyone,
I wanted to pass this along to those of you who have helped support
our friends Simon and Nadege in Cameroon over the past couple of
years. I just got this report from Simon and I thought I would share
it with you guys. Your generosity has blessed these two and their
family tremendously and has helped them through the death of their
child, a house fire and several other very difficult times that they
have faced. I think they finally feel like they are beginning to heal
from this time of trial. Thanks again for being so willing to bless
these two that mean so much to Kendal and I.

SIMON DECEMBER REPORT
Dearest brethren,
We hope this report finds you well.
It is a blessing for all of us to witness the end of the year under
God protection throughout the year 2011.This month was particularly
the accomplishment of the past month project, as well as others usual
activities.
ACTIVITIES WITHIN THE LOCAL CONGREGATION
We had instead of our usual second week fellowship meal of each month,
a familial meal at the end of the month which was also the end of the
year. it was very joyful to seat laughing, talking, seeing the
children playing around. The previous night, we had a prayer moment.
It was a thanksgivings time by remembering the many blessings our God
granted to each of us as a Christian family.
We thank God as one sister (Larissa) got the entrance of the
government teacher training school. It was an encouragement to the few
others ones who have been applying without success to know that even
if there is a say in our country that “without money at hand, no way
to have a work or entering a Government training school», our mighty
God is still in control no matter what. Brother Joslyn has made an
exam to enter the government diplomacy training school and the result
was a success.
Concerning the ministries, the women had their workshop and learned
together with all available people, how to make powder soap. It was
great and benefic to those who were present compare to their previous
expense.
As for the young ministry, the preparation of our community farm is
going on and benevolence acts are being done to have it done by the
time we have our first rains which are usually in February.
The men ministry at the end continues praying and encouraging all to
keep the faith concerning the Church construction project and some
donations have started falling through within the local congregation.
We had 100euros.
Besides, the men are preparing a seminar next February on “how to help
the growth of a young congregation”. It is concerned mainly with the
leaders but opened as well to all the brethren who are potential
leaders as well for the future.
At end, there is also a workshop panned by the same February on the
“the kind of food we eat” by a specialist in alimentary science.
Because, it has been proved that many people, who die in Africa, are
because of malnutrition and because of that, they are not reaching
advanced age because of that poor way of maintaining the body system.
ACTIVITIES OUTSIDE
Our meeting with my biological family is becoming again normal after
the trouble moment that we underwent. Some have others cousins have
just joined us.
THANKGIVINGS AND PRAYERS REQUESTS
We would like my family and I to mention your constant commitment
during the 6 past years, supporting us financially. We truly do not
know which word to use to say thank you. We however humbly lift up our
hearts to God and thank him for such unmerited assistance using his
faithful instruments to accomplish that. Thank you our dearest ones.
We cannot forget your heart felling and your actions in times of
trials and weaknesses we went, through your calls and words of
encouragement. Please continue to put us into your prayers, helping us
with your mature experiences in order for us to accomplish our father
mission handed to us. Please pray for the work in Cameroon and the
above cases mentioned. May our heavenly father continue to make your
soul prosper as well as all your being in every aspect for his glory.
