Hey friends,

Over a year ago I shared a little about our friends Simon and Nadege
Motaze who live and work as ministers in Cameroon. The last time I
told you about them it was after the tragic lost of there 10 month old
son Jim. After the loss of their son, you guys responded with amazing
generosity and with the help of a lot of people all of their bills
were covered and they were able to move past the financial burden
created by hospital and funeral bills. I know that a couple of you
have been supporting these two monthly since then as well and I want
to again say thank you for your generosity. I know you don't know
SImon and Nadege personally, but I can testify to their love for Jesus
and their desire to minister to people in need.

Last week while we were gone I received word of another struggle that
these two dear friends of mine are facing. Once again our brother
and sister need help. You guys responded with tremendous generosity
when Simon and Nadege lost their son last year. They were overwhelmed
by the outpouring of love and support that they received. As many of
us have experienced, many times the difficulties that we face in life
come in waves and it seems often seems that we get hit with one hard
thing after another. This is certainly the case with Simon and Nadege
right now. Recently, the building that they use as their church
building burned. It seems that the fire was started by an arsonist.
The building is actually three apartments that was given to the church
to use. They use one apartment as their meeting place for church
activities. The other two they are using for people who are
financially struggling and need a home. Currently a man who is sick
and cannot work lives in one and a widow who has 5 young children
lives in the other. They are staying with other families until the
apartments can be fixed.

So, my purpose in writing is this:

First, will you pray for these friends of ours and the young church
that they minister to?

Second, if you are able, will you consider giving some funds to help
them rebuild? The necessary repairs will cost 1500 Euro or about
$2200. Kendal and I will be making a donation and would love to be
able to take care of this need with the help of anyone else who is
interested. If you would like to help, just make the check out to
"Church of Christ" and give it to Kendal and I. We will collect all
of the checks and then send them on to our friend Jim Stamatis who
will get the funds to Simon. Please send me a response if you intend
to help and tell me how much so I can keep Jim Stamatis up to date and
can be expecting your check. Also, if you know anyone else who might
be interested in helping, please spread the word. Please don't feel
any pressure or obligation to help. I just wanted to share the
opportunity as I know that you guys are always looking for ways to
share the blessings that God has given to each of us.

I am verey thankful for each one of you. May God continue to bless
you as you work in His Kingdom.

For His Glory,

Jeremy
