saltire and threaded Sable and in chief a nest Vert garnished Or and on a
base wavy Azure two barrulets wavy Argent. Mural crown argent with four
visible towers (town rank) and white scroll reading in black upper case
letters "Minde". The banner should have silvery and blue tassels and
cord, and golden pole with spear finial.
Flag and arms adopted and published in the official journal _Diário da
República : III Série_ in 2003.03.11: «escudo de prata, duas agulhas de
negro passadas em aspa e enfiadas do mesmo, entre ninho de verde,
realçado de ouro, em chefe e campanha ondada de azul e prata de cinco
tiras. Coroa mural de prata de quatro torres. Listel branco, com a
legenda a negro: "MINDE".» The CHAAP approval had been published in

it had 3311 inhabitants in 2001 and covers 21,20 km². See also
