SYNOPSIS: To understand science one needs logic ; and to understand the scriptures ,the Bhagavad Gita ,one needs Faith . Today we are going to corelate on the amazing facts told by the Bhagavad Gita ,By Maharshi Vedavyasa and the scriptures more than 5000 years ago – How they are corroborated and proved today by the world renowned scientists , psychologists and world’s best sellingauthors . Let us all feel proud and imbibe the vedic teachings in our lives with much more fortitude and resoluteness which we did so far only by FAITH , now summated with LOGIC .
BIODATA of SPEAKER: Shri Srinivaas V Sirigeri was born in 1961 in a small town -Gangavati, Karnataka. Schooled in Belgaum and Bengaluru. He later joined the family business in Gangavati, and simultaneously graduated in Commerce & Law. He moved to Mumbai in 1991 and founded Shakti Enterprises, a consultancy firm in Edible oils and in 2009 became the Founder and Chairman of Shakti International Pvt Ltd and established as a reputed edible oil importer of the country. Later in life, he developed an intense yearning for Spirituality and in 2013 successfully completed a rigorous 2 year Vedanta course at 'The Chinmaya Mission- Sandeepany Sadhanalaya- Mumbai. Prior to that in 2001, he learnt Sukshma Vyayam Saral Yoga from Sri CSR Prabhu (Alumni of IIT Mumbai). Since then, he has been relentlessly practicing this yoga for almost over 2 decades. Knowing the immense benefits one can derive from this Unique simplified form of Hatha yoga, which he calls as an elixir -Sanjeevini for life, Shri Srinivaas V Sirigeri is now on a mission to spread this rare knowledge far & wide. He is the pioneer Trustee of ARMMAN which works towards empowering mothers and enabling healthy children in India. ARMMAN is implementing the largest mobile health programs in the world (Kilkari and Mobile Academy) in partnership with the Government of India catering to over 6 crore women in 18 states for health care during pregnancy and child birth . In 2021 ARMMAN won the Prestigious $1.5 million Skoll Award for Social Entrepreneurship for its exceptional work in the maternal and child health space in India. ARMMAN is one of five organizations to win this award, and the only one from Asia, selected from 700 shortlisted organizations worldwide. Many such awards have been graced on ARMMAN.
As a Spiritual seeker he has delivered 740 lectures on the Bhagavad Gita in the last 45 months starting from the 1st April 2020. He has taught Sukshma Yoga over 350 ONLINE sessions from last 30 months. His motto in life has been ‘ ToServe and Enrich Others’.
