we recently attended a discipline class hosted by a private company.
they took u through some standard conceps. Mostly what we learned in
the Stars classes we took to be come licensed foster parents.

What i found interesting was that there was a complete lack of hands
on, practical advice on how to deal with situations.

One parents couple asked how to dea with their 6 year old that mouthed
off all the time. Another single gentleman asked what to do when his
15 year old foster son stole food off of the food bar at a restaurant.

Since most of the usable tips came from other foster parents in the
room, I thought I'd open up the conversation here. Share your
challenge and see what others suggest. Or comment on someone else's
