Experience: 1 year to 9 years

 

Job Profile:

Interacting with clients, understanding their needs and providing technical support to clients by remotely accessing their Networks

and troubleshooting the issues raised. Candidate will be a part of technical team that will be responsible for resolving trouble-tickets
raised by users of the client’s product/service through phone, email or remote access.

                  

Essential:                     

• Prior troubleshooting experience/ Experience in working in  Enterprise Network Operations Center
• Willing to work in 24*7 Support (Including Night Shifts)
• Prior experience of Voice based technical support
• Excellent written as well as verbal communication skills

 

Req 1. TAC Engineer

 

·         Strong in OSI Reference Model, L2/L3 switching, VLAN, Ether channel, DTP, VTP, CEF, Basic routing, Password recovery,

STP, PoE, Loop creation and breaking concepts, ROMMON recovery

·         Understanding of IP sub-netting/super netting.

·         Should be comfortable with IP based Routing Protocols like BGP, OSPF and RIP.

·         Good knowledge of TCP/IP protocol suite (both IPv4/IPv6)

 

Req 2. Carrier/digital communications technologies

·         Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot issues within the following Product Lines:  CS2100 platforms, Call Pilot, Communications Server and border control point.

·         Demonstrated knowledge of the following technologies and/or platforms: voice switch infrastructure experience including CS1000 and M1; digital communications including: OCx, DS1, DS3, Fiber, ISDN, VoIP; operating systems and applications including: Windows, MS Office; computer support experience including: PC hardware and configurations, troubleshooting; power experience including, Lorain, DC distribution systems, troubleshooting; and telecom experience including: T1 and DACS.

·         Demonstrated knowledge of complex programming and troubleshooting of telephony switches and voicemail systems including Nortel CS2100, CS1000, SL100, MG9K, CISCO SONET, Call Pilot, Lucent SLC-2000 Fiber Mux and DDM 2000, ADAS, ACD, K&R TMS, Secure Logix.

·         Functions include SERVORD, OSSGATE, ACD routing, understanding and deciphering complex translations.

·         Knowledge on data communications, digital communications, operating systems and applications, telecommunications, computer support, project management, and/or power.

·         Demonstrated knowledge of LAN/WAN protocols.

·         General knowledge in the use of electronic test equipment.

·         Experience and knowledge of transmission facilities (OC192, OC48, OC12, OC3, T3, T1, and DSO)

Req 3. ACME Packet SBC:

·         Perform these initial triage, and technical information management tasks.

·         Verify the configuration with verify-config and identify errors

·         Restore system configurations

·         Use  a network probe, launch, setup for capture, capture call flows, interpret, and troubleshoot

·         Configure and troubleshoot Realm

·         Configure and troubleshoot SIP interface and SIP port

·         Configure and troubleshoot the Global SIP element

·         Configure and troubleshoot routing (local policy)

·         Enable the Media Manager

·         Configure and troubleshoot Steering Pool

Req 4. Optical /transmission technologies

 

·         Provisioning, Monitoring and Configuration of TX Network for GSM, BSC, MSC and Media Gateway.

·         Working experience in DWDM, SONET, SDH, ASON, OTN Ethernet.

·         IP/packet protocols/routing Telecom Networks.

·         Telecom equipment provisioning ROADM / Optical Cross Connect.

·         VLAN, L2/L3 Switching, EIGRP, OSPF, Static Routing

·         Working knowledge of Optera Metro Network Processor (OM3500 NP), Shelf Processor (OM3500), OM5200, OM 5100, Packet Edge OPE.

·         Monitoring, Provisioning, node creation, network up gradation of different transmission systems

·         Traffic re-routing
