Hello Rescue Partner's,

I hope this email finds you well. We appreciate your ongoing commitment to animal welfare and your partnership with Gwinnett Animal Welfare and Enforcement. Today, we are reaching out with a plea for assistance regarding the evolving situation of an increased need to home animals in our care.

There are currently 217 adoptable animals in our care, ready to find their FURever homes! Among those animals, 61 dogs have been here for a month or more (13 for over 100 days, 7 for over 200 days, 3 for over 300 days, 1 for over 400 days, 1 for over 700 days, and 1 for over 800 days!)

Some of our long-term residents may not run to the front of their kennel to greet visitors, may be shy, or just don’t do well in a stressful shelter environment. Perhaps they have a treatable medical condition and just need someone to give them a little extra care. For whatever reason, these animals find themselves running out of time constantly overlooked. We’re confident once you engage with one of these sweethearts and help them into a loving foster or forever home, they will reach their full potential as happy, loving companions!

As valued partners, your support is crucial in helping us provide the best care and support for these animals in need. Please respond at your earliest convenience, and if you are unable to assist at this time, any networking or sharing within your rescue community would be immensely helpful. We understand the demands on your organization and greatly appreciate your dedication to making a difference in the lives of animals. Together, we can continue to make a positive impact on the welfare of animals in our community.

Thank you for your prompt attention to this matter, and we look forward to working together to ensure the best possible outcome for this animal in distress. Again, we are always reachable at 678.245.2447 and Animal...@GwinnettCounty.com
