I'm just about to launch a company and am planning on doing something
along these lines. I've seen Gabe's post from February about DDG's

Sorry to be obvious but what exactly do you mean by experiences?

A few things I'm wondering
- Has anybody else signed up to do a FOSS Tithe (or something similar)?
- What if any responses did you get from stakeholders (community members, employees, investors, etc.) and media?
- How did you go about selecting the projects
And beyond that, anything else of interest!
