Dear Fossil Free Bristolites,
Happy Earth Day!
Just a quick reminder about our meeting TONIGHT 7-9pm.
At: Steve's House, 93 Sefton Park Road, BS7 9AW
We will be following on from the last meeting in terms of solidifying our short-term and long-term goals, and in particular thinking about how we can make our stall at Redland Fair on 4th May help to work towards these goals.
Also, I have received this email (below) from the Guardian's 'Keep it in the Ground' campaign. Has anyone else? They want us to be part of their video. I thought perhaps we could film something tonight?
Does anyone want to meet BEFORE our meeting tonight and do it with me?! we just have to video ourselves reading out the script (attached). Let me know if you're free.
See you later!
Holly Templer

Thank you again, this time for offering to help with our video message to Bill Gates. We think it’s going to be a powerful piece. All it should take is 20 minutes of your time. .
Here’s what we’re planning: We have a script with a direct plea to Bill to lead by example and divest, and it’s attached to this email. We’re asking all of our contributors to read the whole script. We’ll then edit the combined footage together so that we see a selection of you from around the world narrating the message a line or two each. At the end we’ll see a collage of lots of your videos, calling for Bill Gates to “Keep it in the Ground” as a finale.
Instructions:
There are full instructions on the guidelines document attached that should cover off your questions. Apologies about the attachment. If you’re at all concerned or need help, just reply to this email and we’ll get in touch.
Please don’t worry about perfecting your performance, we can edit pauses and fluffed lines out.
Once you’ve recorded your script reading, follow the instructions to upload the file to our Wetransfer site either via the app or the website.
We are up against a deadline. Please let us know asap if you aren’t able to participate, as we are counting on having your video.
Thank you once again, we can’t wait to see you in action!
Best
James Randerson, assistant national editor

Subject: Following up -- Guardian request
From: helpkeepit...@theguardian.com
To: hollyt...@hotmail.comDear Keep it in the ground supporter,
Thank you so much for responding to my recent email asking for feedback and recommendations on the Keep it in the Ground campaign. We were so taken with your story that we’re hoping you’ll say yes to our request.
We’d like to create a video message to Bill Gates, a video made up of you alongside other specially selected campaign supporters asking him to lead by example and divest. You would just need a camera phone or other digital video recorder, 10 minutes and internet access to send us the video file.
Can you help? We hope so. Just reply to this e-mail and we’ll send you specific instructions, recording tips and a short script.
There are three team members working on the video -- Sonia, Natalie and Louise. Should you have any questions or concerns, reply to this e-mail and one of them will respond.Best,
James Randerson, assistant national editor

CC: hollyt...@hotmail.com; fossil-fr...@googlegroups.comGood thinking, I was having that same feeling, 6:10? We could meet by the house halfway up the allotment path. I think there's a gate into the allotments there x

Cooltastic. I am free too and that venue sounds lush in all senses. 630 sounds a bit tight time wise though. I think we need to get off to a quickish 7pm start with the amount of biz we have. Feels a bit stressy. Any scope to meet earlier?
