Green councillors puting forward divestment motion - please support (before midday on 14th December)

Lindsey Fassnidge <lindseyf...@yahoo.co.uk>: Dec 10 10:05PM Hey everyone, I just discovered that the Green Party are putting forward a divestion motion next week. The motion calls on Bristol City Council to agree to press the Mayor to lobby Avon Pension Fund to divest from fossil fuels. This is happening at a meeting on Tuesday 15th December. Information on how you can help get this motion passed are given in detail below.   To submit a statement in support the motion I think all you have to do is e-mail democrati...@bristol.gov.uk with: - Your name - Your address - The name of the motion you're supporting, which is 'Make Avon Pension Fund a Fossil Free Fund'   - And - cruicially - a short statement about why you think Avon Pension Fund should divest.   You need to do this by midday on Monday 14th December.
