Dear all,

You will know that as a result of our pressure ...  thanks for your support... Avon Pension Fund are reviewing their responsible investment policy and within that their practice towards investments in fossil fuels. This could be a long process and I doubt whether we will hear anything before Easter.
In the mean time we continue to collect signatures for our petition and we now have 620 ... wow! I hear you say ... but we need more. If you are coming on Sunday there is an opportunity to double that figure if we all take a copy of the petition and say each get 10 signatures! I have attached a copy of the petition which you can print out or alternatively collect copies from me on Sunday. I will be stood by the DANCE banner (dharma action network for climate engagement) with its picture of the earth against a white background. We can collate them at the end of the day - I suggest that you pass your completed sheet to another collector and so on, so that only a few people are left with the sheets. If someone wanted to co-ordinate this and collate sheets at the end of the march that would be great. If you do get stuck taking home a sheet of signatures then email me and I will arrange to collect.

On Sunday I will bring some divestment placards that you can carry on the march. I aim to drop them off at Castle green around 11.00am. Unfortunately I need to leave at 2.00 pm so may not be able to collate them at the end of the march. Would anyone be able to do this (there are 5 in total) and ideally take them home?

Thank you for your interest and support in this campaign and hope to see you on Sunday.
