I believe in general Ubuntu don't have agreements with  Hardware vendors for testing.... Also it releases software versions earlier than redhat, it means less testing of software components of the os.  

So possibilities of occurance of issues in Ubuntu can be more than other os.

One of the reasons why Ubuntu is not much used in infrastructure related servers where more durability is required.
