docker local build failing from 17.11

Hi Team,

I tried cloning docker source code and building cli binary.

It failed due to "ncurses protocol error".

Issue raised on docker github page : https://github.com/docker/cli/issues/823

Observable difference were

"

Build passing upon changing alpine version in 17.11 from golang:1.8.4-alpine3.6 to golang:1.8.3 .
check output in the last section above.

Does golang:1.8.4-alpine3.6 contain breaking changes from golang:1.8.3 ?

I am able to build the docker repo with out any issue (on ubuntu)
