I code in C at my day job and was looking for a good resource on C++, since as has been discussed at quite a few meetups it's being used in infrastructure quite a lot. Had done basic C++ in my college days, but, I don't remember much now. Was going through the below list on Stack Overflow.
https://stackoverflow.com/questions/388242/the-definitive-c-book-guide-and-list
Does anyone have recommendations from experience? I am mostly willing to look at two resources at a time. So maybe one book acts as a reference and the other would be the one I actually read through, if it is not possible to recommend one alone.
C++ Primer/Accelerated C++, Effective Modern C++ and Modern C++ Design are the ones I had my eyes on.
Regards,
Sanchayan.
