I just received confirmation that the head of OGC Standards, Dr. Carl Reed will be attending FOSS4G-NA as a guest of SharedGeo. Always flexible and enthusiastic, Carl is willing to participate by presenting or serving on a panel if the program still has gaps. I believe Nancy Read was considering the possibility of his participation in a panel on GEO-Portal, et al. His tentative plans are to arrive the evening of the 21^st, and depart the afternoon of the 23^rd.

OK, food for thought – let me know if there is any interest.
