So I just now found out that the Marriott has double booked the main atrium area at the venue until 1pm on Wednesday. With the numbers where they are now, we do have space adjacent to the Ballroom that we can initially (or permanently) have the exhibitors set up in, so while it sucks and is non-deal it's not the end of the world.

The silver lining is they full well know they screwed this one up. We are way below our Food and Beverage Minimum and it looks like we can use this as plenty of leverage to get that adjusted. This could well make the difference between us being in the red or in the black by a significant margin.

Other than that whole snafu, everything is coming together well. We are wrapping up the program and that will go to a local printer by first thing Thursday morning. T-shirts are on their way. We have a full time registration coordinator and volunteer coordinator lined up to staff the registration area. Our numbers are looking up -- about 310 for Wed/Thurs, 160 for Friday, and 100 for the Gala.

I'll be getting a list to sign up for volunteer shifts (registration area and session moderators) later this week. If you have not registered yet, please do so by tomorrow!! The registration codes I've given out expire tomorrow.
