Thank you for agreeing to give a concurrent session presentation at the FOSS4G North America Conference and help us to deliver a great set of talks on diverse topics. We really have a pretty awesome program and it wouldn't be possible without you.
You will have a total of 25 minutes to give your presentation and answer questions from the audience. The sessions are arranged in blocks of 2 to 3 presentations with a 5 minute transition between sessions. Please keep to your allotted amount of time to give
people time to switch rooms between presentations. We will have moderators to help you with time management...
You can find the final version of the program schedule at:
http://foss4g-na.org/wp-content/uploads/2013/05/foss4gna-2013-schedule.pdf There could be a few unexpected changes, we aren't planning any.
Each of the session rooms will have a projector, a microphone, and an hard-wired connection to the Internet. We are expecting that each presenter will bring their own computer or run their presentation on a computer belonging to one of the other presenters
in their session block. If this arrangement will not work for you, please contact me as soon as possible.
This year, the conference has adopted a code of conduct. We value the participation of each member of the community and want all attendees to have an enjoyable and fulfilling experience. We are not aware of any issues at past events, but want to provide a
clear understanding of what is acceptable. In preparing your talk, please read Code of Conduct found at
http://foss4g-na.org/code-of-conduct and make sure that your presentation is in compliance with the code.
Thanks again for helping make this a great conference. I am getting very psyched for the event and will be happy to see all of you here in Minneapolis in a few weeks. If you have any questions at all, please don't hesitate to contact me.
