I recently get Install UBUNTU 9.04 which i get from canonical limited.
It get install very easy and good working. But till it does not play
any multimedia files and of course the same problem of not working of
Internet with USIM and SRT CDMA MODEM is present.
Can any one support me in this matter, I am very troubled.

Search this group with the title "USB modem" and I think You will find
helps you need.
If you have canonical ubuntu cd it wont play mp3 files or DVDs. You
need to install codecs for that.
And if you have good speed internet
go to
System>Administration>Synaptic Package Manager
and search for "ubuntu-restricted-extras"
and install it
It will solve your multimedia files
I also recommend you to install VLC player
If you cannot have very good internet connection
ask for an apt on cd with restricted multimedia codecs.
If someone has it they will provide you.
