Hi FOSSians,

This is to inform you that We, Open Source Lovers from ASCOL (OSAC and Mozilla ASCOL) have been organizing open meets on every alternative Saturday.Our main theme is to promote Open source philosophy ,tool/software/utility & use them efficiently at our level.These days we are meeting at KLL. If you are interested for mentoring/speaking/supporting or join us directly or indirectly can follow this thread.

Hi Ubash,

If you feel annoyed by the emails in mailing list then there are following options

1) Unsubscribe yourself

You can do so by following this instruction:

> To unsubscribe from this group and stop receiving emails from it, send an email to foss-nepal+...@googlegroups.com.

2) Filter out the FOSS mailing list emails so it don't clutter your inbox.

Regarding the police report, I don't think you can complain about it. While signing up for the mailing list all of the members are required to follow through consent and act accordingly. Which in lay man terms is coming to an agreement with the terms and conditions and show that you have provided your permissions to send emails to you.

Hi Avinash Dai,

Regarding updates on Open Meet Sessions.These days we are meeting every Saturday(if there are no coinciding events/hackathons nearby ) 11:00 am - 3:00 pm,where first and third Saturday of a month includes project planning ,work on projects,preparation for external competitions and in 2nd and 4th Saturdays we have been organizing workshops.Topics for those sessions and Workshops are chosen on the basis of the  feedback provided by the participants in earlier sessions.We have published few blogs  of our previous meets here.
