Regarding Django

Hello Foss-Nepal Group, 

My name is Brijendra. I was approached by my client if we could do something in Django in Nepal. Since Python is a new language for me and I am not so sure what to do with things I am not aware of. 

I was interested to know if there are Django PPL in Nepal and if someone can point me to a link to a crash course on Django it would be a Bonus. I am looking for something that doesn't come in first three pages of Google :-).

This again is my learning tendency than a ad. for vacancy or similar thing. So, any help will be greatly appreciated.

Its good place to start. If you can give me a way I can send you some code that I had written with Django for you to work with.

I think, first you have to understand that I am not a coder, just so that I can get that out of way. 

I also want to ask you another question. How strong is the Django base in Nepal, or say in  KTM.

I don't know of too many people that use django. Maybe this thread can work as a headcount of all those using django in some way. So people please +1 if you use django to start off the count.

I do know that there are a few outsourcing ventures here who do django. Other than that I have recently started playing around with it.

I am Kapil, And i am not a python guy, i develop on ruby. However i have a few friends who have ample experience in python and Django framework. If you would want then i can ask them to approach you, If that would help.

Thank You very much for your participation in this thread. 

Kapil, it would be a great help if you can do that for me. But just to be clear, this is just my feasibility study rather than an all out Django Initiation. I do have good feelings about this.
