Hello,
Can we use non-unicode Nepali fonts like Preeti or Kantipur in Linux?
How? I have just installed Ultimate Ubuntu.
Also Nepali fonts I am using in Windows are giving me some problem and
doe not give some characters. So, can anyone send me good one?
Thanks.

Yes, you can use fonts like Preeti and Kantipur in Linux.

If you need it just for a specific user, copy the TTF files for these fonts in .fonts sub-directory of the user's home folder.

Else to make it available for all users, copy the TTFs in
/usr/share/fonts/truetype/ttf-devanagari-fonts.

Hope that helps

Regards,
Jitendra
