Regarding Software Freedom Day(SFD) 2018 celebration

Hello Everyone,

As we all know Software Freedom Day (SFD) is approaching near. 3^rd Saturday of September ( 30th of Bhadra) leaves us with one month time for its preparation from now. So, lets have discussion about how we want to celebrate software freedom day this year.

There are two main agendas of this mail.

• If we want to follow decentralized SFD celebration model like that of last year or we want to do one event to sum it  all. 
• Most important of all If anyone from us is willing to take the lead for SFD celebration this year. This will help to take the discussion further.

Lets use this email thread to share our suggestion, ideas. Hope to get someone from us to lead SFD.

Thank you so much Sushma for initiating the discussion regarding the Software Freedom Day and a warm hello to all open source lover.

15th September 2018 is close and I think we need to start working on it, right from today.

I think its always a good idea to decentralize the SFD celebration but let's try to organize at-least one event here at Kathmandu. It doesn't have to be big, let's plan accordingly within our capacity and resources.
