Propose changes in the syllabus.txt itself

Hi,
i was checking the file syllabus.txt there are some portions which are outdated like the lines item number 8 , RCS and CVS are out even SVN is threatened instead we should mention
about DVCSS like git and mercurial what do you guys say .

also there not a mention of how to get help

i would like to add a line item number as 0

0) how to get help when nobody is around also to access and participate in mailing list and IRC channels

i appreciate the whole effort but i am sorry to ask question so late in cycle still i am not clear with the objective of this whole exercise is it for developer centric or for people who want to gain admin skills or is this whole exercise just driven by a syllabus defined by NRCFOSS?

The syllabus is formed by anna university.

Most of the College staff wont like to learn/teach any technology
which is not in syllabus.
so, we work on providing a manual for given syllabus.
