Hey,
For some weird, obscure reason, bitsfoss page regarding ubuntu is not opening. Can someone please send me the settings for the synaptics package manager?

hi,
in Synaptic Package Manager, Settings -> Preferences -> Network Tab -> Select manual proxy cnfign; in that,
proxy : 172.19.1.5 and port: 3142 for both HTTP and FTP proxy. Leave the no proxy box blank.
I think this should work and installation of ur packages should be quicker.
Let me know if it works or not,
