Hi FoSL members!
The FoSL Board would like to make you aware of an opportunity for Sierra Leonean secondary students with the Sierra Leone Youth Institute, which is a transformative experience where high school students engage with local leaders and agriculture experts on critical global challenges, participate in hands-on activities and explore meaningful ways to make a difference in Sierra Leone and around the world.
Students will have the opportunity to research and present their ideas about solutions to food insecurity in Sierra Leone. It emphasizes research, writing, and public speaking skills. The competition is held each year at Njala University.
Visit their website for more information and deadlines: https://www.worldfoodprize.org/en/youth_programs/world_food_prize_youth_institutes/sierra_leone_youth_institute/
Please share with those in Sierra Leone that may benefit from this program.
Take care,
The FoSL Board
