Hi FoSL Members!

We are proud to share with you two Sierra Leone RPCVs that stepped up and acted on the Each ONE, Reach ONE campaign! Katie Haas-Conrad (2010-2012) and Katrina Ramirez-Meyers (2012-2014) tabled during the Volunteer Fair at Carnegie Mellon University (where they both work) in August. They used the materials from the #Each1Reach1 campaign website which included a sector fact sheet for the six sectors as well as a sheet explaining how to strengthen your application and what benefits RPCVs have like the Coverdell Fellowships. They definitely think some of the students they spoke to will consider applying when they graduate! Katie is willing to help anyone get connected to a university in their area to participate in similar activities, just email her to let her know (katelyn...@gmail.com).

If you are looking for ways to support Peace Corps, this is probably the most effective way: getting out there, talking with individuals, sharing your personal experiences.

Thank you to Katie and Katrina for their commitment to Peace Corps as well as sharing their work with us so that we can share with you. Get out there and advocate! Share your work with us! We would love to highlight your efforts!
