Hi FoSL Members,
Our Advocacy Committee is dedicated to highlighting the efforts of those doing amazing work in Sierra Leone. Today, we would like to give you an update of Africa Surgery from Tom Johnson. Tom is an SL RPCV who has spent much of his time, since his Peace Corps Sierra Leone service, assisting Sierra Leoneans with access to lifesaving, life-changing surgeries. He has spoken to our group before at an annual meeting; and, he plans on speaking again for us via Zoom this fall.
