Update from the SCCAN Motorbike Project

Hi FoSL Members! Here is a letter from SCCAN, updating us on their successful FoSL-funded project!

Warm greetings from all of us at the Sickle Cell Carers Awareness Network (SCCAN).

We are pleased to inform you that the motorbikes funded through the generous support from Friends of Sierra Leone (FoSL) for our outreach activities have now been successfully purchased.

These bikes will greatly strengthen our ability to reach underserved and remote communities across Kono and beyond with sickle cell awareness, screening, education, and support services. For many of the villages we work in, transportation has always been one of our biggest challenges, and this support is truly a game changer for our outreach team.
