Dear All,

 

As the resoultion declared by the new committee in our last General Body Meeting, the main focus of FOSA activities in this calendar year is welfare & community service. A labour camp in Catterpillar round about, Sharjah consisting 67 labourers (17 Keralites) are striving hard without any payment for more than half an year. The visa cancellation paper works of 8 among them are done. With the support of all FOSA members it wouldn't be a herculian task to help them reach back to their beloved family.  Expected expense is AED 12,000 (Inc. of a small kit for the repatriate). Please find the following emails sent by our Joint Secretary, Shiroj (Also the mail from Leo, RadioME) regarding the debut activity of "Welfare of Community Wing" of FOSA Dubai Chapter.

It is immense pleasure to announce the first activity of FOSA’s “Welfare and community wing”.  We were trying to get an appropriate case to launch our program as this case we feels as a right one.  These 8 persons who are in a labour camp in sharjah who lost their job and last 7 months staying their without any salary.  So we will take this opportunity to be a human being in all sense and come forward  to be a part of this charitable venture and  to ensure  its success.

 

This case is proposed by Mr.Leo of Radiome.  And one of the leading socially committed organizations is given the details of these incidents as they are helping this camp by giving food for several months.

As a begining our President in Charge Mr.Jameel Latheef had came forward with an amount to contirbute to this venture .  Many thanks to him. Let it be a good sign to start with.

Dear All,

 

With the grace of Almighty and support of FOSA members the first batch of repartiation ticket has handed over to our brothers in Labor Camp. Mr. Chinnasamy (Chennai) & Boini Balachandar (Hyderabad) will leave UAE @ tonight's flight to India (Insha Allah). We are giving them a farewell @ Labor Camp in the evening. Those who are interested to join us or would like to give any 'take away' kits to them may please call either Shiroj 0505538372 or undersigned. They will leave the camp (Cater Pillar R/A- SHJ) @ 6:00 PM.

 

Next batch is scheduled on June 11, 2012. Once again thanks to all those hands who supported the needy.
