Dear Members PIFFA,

election process is due to follow every year as per Association act,

few of us know who decides & how it's decided.

 

I have been active in affairs of PIFFA since my first speech at 01st Annual General Meeting of PIFFA (it's 2006 I think)

thanks to those who granted me time to tell my views.

 

Even now when it comes to election, shuffling starts behind the scene

Silent discussions starts at Elite's drawing rooms, In the same process it's decided who will be the Chairman,

How strange it is for an association of free enterprenuers THE SAME BECOMES CHAIRMAN.

How it's so certain & predictable, election results should be uncertain & inpredictable,  if it's choice of free people.

 

This year it has been decided again, seems sure that same person will be Chairman

I am not against the person who going to be Chairman but against the thinking & process they try to impose

 

At election meeting starts, One established view is

"ya tu 15-20 logon ka apas ka masla he, baqi kisi ko is sa koi gharz nahi, quin na mil beth ka ta kar le"

 

Like wise at election of 2010 SELECTION was done & an effort was done to undo election process,

we counter this effort in Southern region but there was no one to counter it in Northern region.

 

Influential members decides who will be EC Member, it's interesting to know why they prefer so

Psyche behind this is not PEACE & HARMONY but a thinking to remain Chuahdry

if people themselves decided who will be EC member "ta menu chauhdry kon kaha ga"

 

Majority should convey it's message by a way I suggest

 

Today nomination forms have been circulated, Every Memebrs who thinks association affairs can be improved

should participate, it's irrelevant  WHO WIN or LOOSE or how many candidates appear in election

 

It'll convery a lcear message by majority,

its a number game.... if there are people with productivity and those who really want to  give time can be on the top with a change

but believe me people in this industry (more then 70 %) don't like those people and don't want those people, who want to change this system.

 

you can not make a change with less numbers, resulting you will find the same faces in parliament....

if you want to make a change then this is not a place of discussion, or you will not be able to make a change via bulletin board...

Work hard and have people with productivity on the other hand just keep these people alone, as I am sure you don't want yourself in hot water....

 

Just be silent.... there is no count down moving here... you will find the results as I said... this is not going to be un-expected for me and many others.

Please note that Mr. Touqir has did very in depth study toward Freight Forwarding always maintain it even continue

We should follow him but his attitude not political so that's why most of members could not understand him.

The key reason that all we just busy, we could not spare time for all this, in this way either we should bear current arrangement or choose one "leader" who just keep guide to all either he become Chairman or not but his indication must be take with Full respect.

After Adopt like above with passage of time might be we feel that we on right direction otherwise we still on good track so without take noises we should find signal.

Positive approach is that we are communicating!!!

1-Everybody wants to be Chairman or atleast  EC member  :)

2-Those who had even enjoyed  3-4 years in different capacites in PIFFA still not satisfied i dono why. &  r commenting in

   offensive mood

3-Nobody wants to attend  even  AGM  or any other concerning matter's meeting... but want to be EC member

4-Those who are in PIFFA subcommittes most  didnt bother to attend meetings & expecting everything will be alright as

   per thier will !!

5- Sorry to say ,,, everybody passes his comments without inquiring what  PIFFA has achieved or lose in the tenure !!!

   it is like " Everybody was fighting for Pakistan , when it came into being those who didnt get as per thier expectation now

   saying why they make Pakistan we were living happily in India :)))  ""

6- Nobody willing to pay his part / time but wanted to be Choudhary even those who are founded not more than 5 years

   in which many of those dont even know  many terms of shipping & Freight Farwarding.

7- Crictism became Habit of our nation without knowledge.

8- I Believe  Talent  never waste ... rivers make their own way .. come farward meet with people get to know & share thier

   problems atleast be part of association with your time which is also money { :) } ...paying the association fees dosen't mean

   that PIFFA will come to your office & request for your nomination for  EC member  or Chairman !!!!

9- It has be  proven that in last tenures (excluding last 3 ) there has not been done so much except leg pullings...

   now those people again want to be Part of PIFFA ..

 

10- I dont think somthing has been done wrong for Industry by PIFFA ,, even we proceed further & solve many Vital issues

     with the help of opposition (people think opposition but they are our brothers ) taking everybody on board.

 

11- Regarding the Number Game ..it is like how you can afford nobody stops anyone after getting due process !!

 

We Pakistiani's are those who dont bother to stop on Traffic Signals   &  Blame & abuse   ZARDARI !!!!

everybody come farward & show his ability file papers  & be  EC member  if he can spent time money & scarifice his business ....

I would like to add that in my humble opinion this is the time to break the ice.Like "now or never".It is very easy to enjoy the luxuries granted through supremacy and power , while sitting in cozy Drawing Rooms passing comments and criticizing ,justifying the un devised and distract approach deciding the fate of our industry.

Prevailing circumstances reminds me of a very famous quote from the movie "Fall of the Roman Empire".

"A nation is not conquered,until and unless it is destroyed from within".

We are doing the same thing and have become an easy pie/prey.

Lets come forward and make the masses realize the importance of unity based on right and truth.

"Alone we are a drop and together we are an ocean."

Actually political mind is God gifted,and any person who has capability and want to work for his association,can contest election,no need very big experience,and no need have a big money
