How to maintain secure transactions with overseas agents

Dear All,

Forwarders doing import freight business have to transfer big import freight amounts to overseas agents,

there are many cases where overseas agents fraudulentlay didn't paid transfered freight amounts to carriers.

 

seeking guidance how we can make it more secure & what terms/conditions should be mandatory in agency agreement to make it secure.

looking forward to experienced forwarders who can guide over it, it'll be beneficial for all.
