If every thing is available on the record, why the members feel there is lack of transparency as can be assumed from myraid of emails being flashed around. The good thing will be for PIFFA to issue an official memo, acknowledging the problem and how it proposes to help members, both caught in the problem and to others as a preventive. If there be a dealy in such a memo, let PIFFA come up with a short announcement.

Unfortunaltely its a Private meeting and I contacted PIFFA secriteriate and Mr. Habibullah said that we sent the invitations to whom ( around (55 to 60 )which list we rcvd from Mr. Tariq Chaudhry. So I am amazed that PIFFA is working on a single man instructions and who will bear the cost and why PIFFA invites only them. we shuold call a General Meeting and take intiative that whats going on ?????? if we can see the 90% problems and Fraud are taken pleaces on the side on Consolidation and De consolidations.

It appears some 'private' meetings are being held for I have not seen any circular or advice of a meeting on the subject now being raised in these emails. If such is the case, PIFFA may clarify whether the meeting have its patronage. I feel a demostrated open-ness in our dealings will establish respect of the FFs in general and PIFFA in particular and we need such respect and status badly. The climate right now is that whether it is the importer or exporter or the Customs....belief is that FFs are the scum of the earth. We can only counter such image by PIFFA and our industry leaders adopting an open, fair and moral stance in face of any adversity experienced. Over time, with consistence on our part, the image will change.

Dear All ,

With ref to the current issue of notices to few Consolidators / Shipping Agents & few PIFFA Members , myself must have to thanks to those PIFFA Members who intervene in the matter & in the light of the meeting by PIFFA Members  & by the efforts of these PIFFA Members , an environment of un-certainty has cleared , showering has stopped but clouds still on the heads.

Thanks to all of them who intervene in the matter from their precious time .

 

In this regard , as a association , PIFFA must have to take some major steps or decisions to save the reputation of all other members including PIFFA Logo. Some suggestions are as under :-

 

1-      Those members who have received the notices , they must have to submit the copy of notices to PIFFA along with the documents required / mentioned in the notice for PIFFA’s ref & record .

2-      Based on these documents , PIFFA shall form an strong committee on those persons who shall scrutinize those default parties / members who are / were involved / engaged under wrong practices, who applied wrong ethics & destroyed / damaged the image of PIFFA & its  members who are not engaged or involved in the matter.

3-      After checking from all aspects , such committee shall suggest PIFFA to take necessary steps against those members who helped out to those molecules which hits PIFFA & its member’s goodwill.

4-      Such committee shall also check the documents of those members who did not done this job intentionally but such jobs occurred by mistake from their staff & a warning notice to be issue to all of them

to take care for future working. 

5-      Further , it is strongly suggested to all PIFFA members to point out or to bring any case or matter in the notice of PIFFA & their relevant committees where they feel or found that such PIFFA member’s act shall

Destroy / damage the worth & goodwill of all , PIFFA must have to make an strict & strong policy against such member to avoid further / future consequences .

 

Its my believe & I do not know about others but this is the right time where PIFFA shall take an stand .

 

This e-mail has sent without any grievance or not sent against anyone but for the betterment of all & for those , who wish to see a long lasting respectful profession .

 

Myself regret to those who feel hurt  but sometimes , We have to face truth or to join our hands with truthful situation.

mostly members calls & ask wt's the issue......majority don't know wt's happening & why
no one came to brief about it nor PIFFA issued any memo or announcement wt's going on & wt's reason behind.

we don't know when PIFFA called 2-3 times meetings nor we recd. minutes of such meetings
One email recd. through a friend, on verification 
PIFFA secretariat declared an individual meeting called by an effected member.
 
we only got to know by phone calls of friends in forwarder circle abt this matter,
 
it's very amazing to know that forwarders/de-consolidators accused & been top victoms of an activity
where their involvment is at secondary level, where stnads cnee, custom dept. itself & clearing agent responsibility???

I think this is very sensitive issue,and we should not discuss this matter openly,this responsibility of our respected court who is involved in fraud or not.

 

This is accused but this is not full and final that they were involved in criminal activity.this will decide by the court.

 

I personally request all of respected  members pls put this sensitive issue in General body meeting openly,so that your speaking pawer improve and you can face pressure  during speaking before all members in General body meeting,and you become good leader in this way,by mail is totally waist time

 

I am also against such  type of criminal activities and develop business in this wrong way
