All, I recently attended a seminar on work/life balance at the AIA convention in San Francisco.

A friend of mine took great notes that I'd like to pass along to the group -
Enjoy, Emily

Work Life Balance, How leading women in architecture and other professions balance their career and other goals

The panelists included,

architect who owns a 30-people practice in New York
an attorney with 3 boys under the age of 10, who was made partner while working 80% time
a CFO/Partner-in-Charge in a accounting firm with 2 teens at home
and a "hated" lobbiest for women's rights (women in public policy), who is a grandmother that lives in SF to help out w/ her disabled grandchild and runs her practice in DC.

The seminar provided good insights on Work/Life Balance.  Given my current situation, I really enjoyed the seminar.  The attached are my notes.  I hope you'd find it helpful as well.
