Reporter Português is a website for Portuguese people (and others) to
publish success stories and stories about how to overcome the economic
crisis in Portugal. In this sense, we want:
• Success stories: people who were able to thrive during bad times,
being the beginning of a self-owned business or something creative;
• Solutions, tips to help the Portuguese people to survive the crisis;
• Less good stories: we are not dumb and we know that there are many
tragic and dramatic stories to tell. These same stories can and should
be told, but we will give priority to the two cases mentioned above.

What can I publish?
• Texts: reportages, interviews, news, chronicles;
• Images: stories are not only text and so we expect that it would be
possible to publish many photographic reportages, photo galleries,
infographics, maps, audio slideshows, etc.;
• Vídeos: whoever feels comfortable to film can and should do it;
• Áudio: stories with sound always have a greater impact.

NOTE: We are not asking that all of the contributors for Repórter
Português are professional journalists or that they know all the
journalistic principles. What we want is that they have a story public
interest to tell and that they do it in the best way they know how,
without any pressure.

Rules of good conduct:
• The stories sent to be published on Repórter Português should be
original and should not breach someone else’s copyrights;
• All stories must be fact-checkable;
• There will be no tolerance to stories that appeal to racism, to
discrimination of people based on their ethnicity, sexual orientation,
religious or political orientation and that appeal to discrimination
of people with physical or mental disabilities;
• There will be no tolerance to stories that appeal to drug use;
• The use of abusive or offensive language won’t be permitted – bad
words or offenses;
• There won’t, equally, be tolerated images (photos, videos) or audio
files that contain abusive language and language that might hurt the
sentiments of Repórter Portugues’ readers.
